Autobiography
of a
Spiritually Incorrect Mystic

Twelve years have passed since, in the words of his attending physician, Osho prepared for his departure from the body that had served him for 59 years "as calmly as though he were packing for a weekend in the country."

Glimpses from the Autobiography

Autobiography of a Spiritually Incorrect Mystic

Drawn from nearly 5000 hours of Osho's recorded talks, we hear the story of his youth and education, his life as a professor of philosophy and years of travel teaching the importance of meditation, and the true legacy he sought to leave behind: A religiousness religion centered on the act of meditation and the teaching of "Zorba the Buddha", a celebration of the whole human being.

Glimpses of a Golden Childhood

In his introduction to this remarkable book, Abhinandan writes: `The book you have just opened is unique, it is a story of truth. Once upon a time in the city of Rajneeshpuram, Oregon, in that insanity we call America, the living master Osho went to his dentist. This in itself is not unusual. (Even the enlightened ones have sick teeth). What is unique is that the Master turned this seemingly ordinary occasion into an event, another chance to share his being with us. The dental work was fairly routine and, near the end, Osho said a few quiet words as if to himself.

Glimpses of a Golden Childhood

...and here the seed was laid for three books to evolve, with Devageet as the note taker (with the difficult job to take the notes from his memory),
with Devaraj, Osho’s personal physician as the editor, Ashu, the dental nurse assisting and typing and Vivek to take beautiful pictures.

In "Glimpses of a Golden Childhood" stories are told by Osho about his life before enlightenment, when the buddha was a bud. "It is said that while other children went outside to play, Osho went inside - in the truest sense - to find his playground".

The books are fragments of Osho’s childhood, a childhood of rebellion. It tells stories from his school, his family, his grandfather, his first meetings with extraordinary people. And it is filled with the love Osho has for all these figures and with love this people are carrying towards him.
To complete the Glimpses, at the end of the book you will find a rich collection of rare pictures of Osho in his private rooms.

Book I have loved

Books I have Loved
In a series of private talks, Osho talks on his favorite authors and books, and in a completely different way than is his public discourses. "Books I have loved" documents a ‘Zen koan’-like situation: While having treatments on his teeth he talks. Devageet, the dentist, Amrito and a nurse are meant to be the note-taker, but without using a notepad. Osho asks the three to write afterwards from their memory what they remember to have heard, while one is doing the writing and the others are doing the editing.....

In this books Osho talks on more than 150 books he loves...

Notes of a Madman

In the first session, Osho simply talks of this and that, weaving words of beauty and silence into a delightful tapestry of jokes and mischief. Then he begins to go deeply into the sources of the ancient Tibetan mantra Om Mani Padme Hum. Osho takes all the seriousness out of this usually lofty subject and these passages are wonder filled with energy, lightness and much laughter.
