Ancient Indian scriptures written to transform  the Upanishads

It is another type of literature, totally different, which is objective. These Upanishads were not written for the joy of the writer, they were written for those who were going to read them -- they are objective. What they will do to you if you contemplate on them, has been planned; every single word has been put there, every single sound has been used. If someone contemplates on it, then the state of the writer will be revealed to him; the same will happen to him if he contemplates.

The Ultimate Alchemy

The Ultimate Alchemy
Talks on the ATMA POOJA Upanishad

Thousands of years ago, awakened beings living in India spoke to seekers of truth. Their words were compiled into themes and exist now as a body of work called the Upanishads. In this book, Osho takes the ATMA POOJA Upanishad, which literally means "worship of the self," and responds to it in a way that helps present-day seekers penetrating their unconsciousness and finding the truth within themselves. This uncovering of the self is the Ultimate Alchemy.

Just Witnessing This is a body technique.

Flight from the Alone to the ALone

The Upanishads are written in poems so that the reader will more easily remember what he has been reading, and the words can be more easily repeated. Osho comments on these verses to translate this ancient wisdom into the language of our days. "

KAIVALYA means absolute aloneness...This word is of tremendous beauty.

Mahavira says: When you reach to your innermost core, you become absolutely free and that state is of pure aloneness -- Kaivalya. and out of that is wisdom, and out of that is light, and out of that is compassion: everything is born out of that -- so don't avoid aloneness. Yes, everybody is absolutely alone -- and the sooner you recognize it, and the sooner you dare to go in, the better."

Osho uses the ancient wisdom of the Adhyatma Upanishad as a jumping board for his message for the humanity of the twenty-first century. "I will say only that which I know, which I have lived. If you agree to put all at stake, whatever is my experience can also become yours. Experiences do not belong to anyone; whosoever is ready to receive them, they come to him. Nobody has any right over the truth, whosoever is willing to disappear inherits it. Truth belongs to one who shows the readiness to ask for it - who opens the doors of his heart and calls for it."

"The Upanishads talk about ultimate wisdom, Osho tells you how to live it."
