This year’s Summer Festival is an invitation to celebrate life in every aspect. Celebration has many forms of expression - it can be very quiet or very wild. It can be together with friends or alone.

This festival will offer room to experiment with your own unique way to celebrate life, and to find new ways of expressing yourself with others. The Summer Festival will be a rainbow of friends sharing their creativity through music, meditation, relating, healing, tantra, theatre, and dance. Milarepa and Palash will, together with a group of musician friends, create a field of live and joyous music throughout the week. Maneesha, who has been so involved in Osho’s world for many years, will lead meditations and share her treasure of experience. Every day will truly be a celebration, where something new and unexpected can be experienced, as our hearts open more and more to ourselves and to others.

The Summer Festival is a happening for both old friends, who enjoy returning, and for new friends, who would like to visit Osho Risk for the first time.

This training is both for those who would like to begin to explore their own artistic creativity as well as for those who may already have participated in an Osho Painting Training, or similar. It will offer a creative opportunity to go deeper into your own painting skills. During the Training we will work with two themes: ”The Human Body and Self–Portrait” with Meera, and ”Nature and Meditation” with Nirvikalpa:

”Portrait of your Being” with Meera
Meeting yourself behind your masks. Being open to getting in touch with the original self through looking into the mirror and painting whatever is the experience of oneself each moment. A very powerful and healing technique, like a deep purification. You will learn not to go away from yourself, but to embrace and welcome yourself with open arms. And parallel to the self-portrait we will learn to paint the beauty of the human figure in movement and dance.

Using various meditation techniques for watching and sensing, we will go to the very center, soul and essence of nature in our paintings. Not as spectators who observe - but by bringing one’s own inner nature into the process and becoming one with what we paint - in communion with the earth, the trees, the sky.

This meditation retreat is an invitation to exploring the inner realms of oneself in an accepting and loving atmosphere. The inner exploration is happening with the help of active and more silent techniques that Osho has created or made alive again, so that we can have a taste of, and live more and more in the quality of meditation – pure Being.

Looking inside can in the beginning be uncomfortable, but the more one becomes acquainted with the inner journey, the more bliss, joy and peace can be found in the now and here. Total acceptance, relaxation, and alertness are some of the master keys. The retreat will be in silence to allow the outgoing energy to fall inside, so that our own being receives nourishment.
